Marlon Harrington Blows Out Ricardo Medina in Explosive TKO1

DETROIT, MICH (August 20, 2020) — Detroit Middleweight Marlon Harrington electrified the Kronk Gym in the opener of Salita Promotions’ “Detroit Brawl at the Legendary Kronk” event. The first bout only took up 62 seconds of the card which streamed on combat sports app UFC Fight Pass.

Harrington picked up his second win behind a pair of crushing left hands that sent Ricardo Medina to the canvas immediately after each shot. Shortly after the first bell the 28-year old hometown fighter pressured Medina to set up a left hook that dropped Medina for the first knockdown.

Medina beat the but he was back on the canvas a second time around the 2:30 mark. Harrington circled around Medina to set up a second powerful left hook that landed around the guard. Medina beat the count a second time, but before he could get out of the first minute a corner scrum’s action forced Ansel Stewart to step in, and wave off the fight. The official time of the first round TKO was 1:02.
